Moving Consciously

Living the Truth of Who I Am

About Me

That’s me on the left wearing the “I love My Body” pink tank top.  It took 50 of my 58 years of living to be able to announce to the world that “I love my body”.  And now I say it, I wear it, I dance it.  I love my body.

I’ve attempted many different forms of exercise and dance…all of them falling waaaaay short of expectations.  The moment I stepped barefoot into my first Nia class in Dallas, Texas, I knew that my body had found home.

Nia is revolutionary.  Nia is transformational movement.  Nia is a cardiovascular dance exercise.  Nia is explosive.  Nia is meditative.  Nia is magical.  Nia combines my passion for dance (or just moving my body!) and music.

So this blog is my way of merging my passion for teaching Nia with my passion for expressing the fullness and richness of my life.  It is  my desire to allow the things of spirit to move through me into words that dance upon the pages of this blog, inviting you to dance through life.

Hi Jill. Your life and your moves and your breath and your dance resonate great Oneness! It is very inspiring. Because of this, I put a link to your site to share your inspiration to others from my site at everydayletters.wordpress.com under the link category: “Living the Truth”. Hope it’s ok for I help in spreading Oneness consciousness in whatever small ways I could give it a hand to. And hoping that soon I could also dance my inner dance with my body too. For now, I only dance wit my pen. Thank you for your being. Peace and love, Celeste.
